The City of Shelbyville Parks & Recreation Department formally serves the community by offering access to eight City parks and the Shelbyville Recreation Center. It is located in the H.V. Griffin Park. They offer many different memberships that will provide you access to exercise classes, pools, basketball courts, fitness centers, and senior programs, along with other different activities. In the outside aspect, you can enjoy about 84 acres worth of sports fields, such as tennis courts, batting cages, a disc golf course, a skate park, playgrounds and pavilions.
