Hendersonville is the largest city in Sumner County, Tennessee, on Old Hickory Lake. It is the fourth largest city in the area of Nashville Tennessee. Hendersonville is located at 36°18′00″N 86°36′22″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 32.9 square miles, of which 27.3 square miles is land and 5.6 square miles is water. Drakes Creek Park is very well known and they offer an expansive city park with lighted fields, basketball courts, sheltered picnic areas & more. Many people enjoy walking their dogs here or going for a long walk or run. The Memorial Park is a beautiful Lakefront community park featuring a playground, picnic shelter, tennis courts & open green space.

Veterans Park offers Community baseball fields, 2 inline hockey rinks & a skate park, plus a children’s play area. They offer Baseball/Softball Fields, Bike Trails, Concession Stands, Inline Hockey Rinks, Playground Areas, Restroom FacilitiesShelters & Picnic Tables- No grillsSkate Park, and Walking Trails.
