Mt. Juliet is a city located in the western part of Wilson County, Tennessee. Mt. Juliet was established in 1835 and joined as a city in 1972. It is on the outskirts of Nashville, and it is approximately 17 miles east of downtown Nashville. Juliet Parks and Recreation Department works to build and give recreational activities and facilities, as well as, recreation and community services needed to improve public well-being and quality of life for the residents of Mt. Juliet. They strive to build and develop a sense of hometown character based on their belief in “Family, Fitness, and Fun!” This recreational park consists of beautiful climbing equipment for the kids in the center. If you are just wanting to go for a brisk walk or jog this is also a nice place.
