Franklin Bridge Golf Club is a Public golf facility offering an 18-hole course, a practice area, a clubhouse & picturesque views. For any golf geeks in Franklin, they were designed by well-known golf course architect, Gary Roger Baird.
This great golf club opened in 1970, the course has a classic layout that will be appealing to many peoples eyes and is open to a wide range of skill levels. Some of the holes clearly present a challenging test, the 16th, and 18th for example, which have been praised by local media as two of the best and most challenging holes in the state, but it is the par-4 ninth with its island green that is the course’s signature hole. Although the layout offers a fair challenge, there is also a decent range of room for error that makes it more approachable for beginners. In addition to the course, Franklin Bridge Golf Club boasts an 8-acre driving range as well as chipping and putting greens equipped with a practice sand bunker.
As many people know, the only Public 18-Hole Championship Golf Course in Williamson County measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and features two of the best and most challenging holes in Tennessee, what is now the 4th hole and the 18th with one of golf’s great icons, and Island Green! The Bridge is a fun, but challenging golf course that they take great pride in its appropriate balance of both challenge and ease. If you shoot a good score here, you have done something, but their wide fairways and large greens make it a great place for your best round ever!
