Mt. Juliet is a city located in the western part of Wilson County, Tennessee. Mt. Juliet was established in 1835 and joined as a city in 1972. It is on the outskirts of Nashville, and it is approximately 17 miles east of downtown Nashville. The most popular theory with the method of the naming of the town is that it is named for the Mount Juliet Estate. It is also the only U.S. city with this name. Mount Juliet offers a broad variety of places to visit!
Charlie Daniels Park is a big park in the area and so many people stop by and enjoy it. It is located at 1100 Charlie Daniels PKWY Mount Juliet, TN 37122. It is rated at about 4.5 stars because of the friendly staff and cleanliness with all of the amenities. The Mt. Juliet Parks and Recreation Department works to build and give recreational activities and facilities, as well as, recreation and community services needed to improve public well-being and quality of life for the residents of Mt. Juliet. They strive to build and develop a sense of hometown character based on their belief in “Family, Fitness, and Fun!” This recreational park consists of beautiful climbing equipment for the kids in the center. If you are just wanting to go for a brisk walk or jog this is also a nice place.
The flowers and short streams bring in the kids. The many historical signs along the trail are a large attraction for people that enjoy learning facts and things of the past. Some people have never seen those at any other parks. A lot of people also find the veterans’ area a neat attraction. Overall, this is a rather charming park in almost every aspect!
