Mt. Juliet is a town found in the western part of Wilson County, Tennessee. Being on the outskirts of Nashville, it is about 17 miles east of downtown Nashville. This area was founded in 1972. Juliet has seen a large growth in the people population and business growth over the last 10 years. With over 31,000 residents who now call Mt. Juliet, it is safe to say this area is growing greatly. This area also has many different schools to offer.
Mt. Juliet High School is located in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The principal is Beverly Sharpe. The high school moved from its previous building on Mt. Juliet Road to a new one. This school is now located at 1875 Golden Bear Gateway, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. Their mission as a high school is to prepare their students to become prosperous and fruitful residents by giving them many educational opportunities and experiences. Mt. Juliet High School is committed to having an even respect among students and staff to teach patience and self-esteem. Each member of this school community is a unique individual and has an important role in everyday classes. Their athletic groups are amazing and very talented. Depending on the season, they offer pretty much any sport you may be interested in.
Mt Juliet Elementary is another school and is located at 2521 W Division St, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. . They make sure the students are successful, and the system works to bring in and keep efficient teachers, administrators, and support staff in all schools. As of now they currently have 1,182 highly qualified teachers and administrators employed.
Mt. Juliet Christian Academy is located at 735 N Mt Juliet Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122in the First Baptist Church. The church and school rest on about 54 acres of land which is less than a mile from Interstate 40. They first opened the doors in 1979 with first through third grades. An extra class was added each year until 1989 when the first class graduated. They now have 580 students enrolled from 1-year-olds to senior classes.
